Exercise of the month (03/2002)


Stabilization Abdominals Dumbell Side Bend
(Abdominals obliques) intermediate

                                                                                

1- Stand erect on one foot (left foot).
2- Hold dumbbell in right hand, neutral grip (palms in). 
3- Place your left hand on waist.
3- Keep back straight and keep balance.
4- Keep your abdominals tight.
5- Bend to right as far as possible, (keep balance) then return to starting position.
6- Change weight to left hand and repeat the movement.
7- Bend at waist only, not at hips or knees.
