Exercise of the month (06/2003)

Burpees on one leg (alternate) - (advanced)
(Legs - Hip)

1- From a standing position on the right foot, go down on your hands.(keep abs always tight)
2- From that crouched position, transfer your weight forward on your hands to push your right leg back.
3- From that push-up position, on your right foot, bring your leg back under you to push yourself up.
4- As you are pushing yourself up, bring your left knee up dynamically in front of you, followed by your right knee to get more height. Your arms should be pushed up at the same time as your knees move up.

- This is a dynamic movement. Abdominals must stay contracted during this exercise.
- Alternate leg after a complete set on the same leg or after each jump (6 to 8 reps per leg).
- For lower intensity, the exercise could be done on two legs with or without the dynamic jump.
