Power Running - Leg Raise with Rubber Band (intermediate)
(Hip Rotators -
Quadriceps - Calf)
1- Tie
rubber band between two poles (squat rack) at 3 to 4'' high.
2- Stand on the ball of your feet with your feet under the rubber band.
3- Lift dynamically your right knee at hip level (or slightly higher),
holding the band with your foot.
4- As you lift your right knee, push slightly up on your left foot and
move your left arm up, 90° angle at elbow (running style).
5- Keep your knee up for a fraction of a second and quickly bring it
down.
6- Do 12 to 15 dynamic repetitions on
the same leg.
