Exercise of the month (03/2006)

Explosive Start with Heavy Ball (intermediate)
(Legs, Hips Power)

1- Start in a sprinter stance (feet at about 1 foot width apart) and balance your weight between the ball and your feet.
2-
Start by running forward explosively through the ball (keeping yourself in a low position as you start) and bringing the ball close to you. Keep your elbows close to your body before throwing the ball forward explosively as you keep running hard and low.
3-
Keep running into your throw for 10 yards.
4- Repeat 5 to 8 times.
